Greenville School of Taekwondo
is a fully accredited and recognized martial arts training center where we blend traditional and contemporary aspects of the art. Discipline and self-defense play an important role in each of our programs, as well as physical exercise and mental alertness. Age and fitness are not barriers, Taekwondo is truly for anyone regardless of your age or present physical condition. Classes are structured to work with each person's individual potential. Individual assessment and advancement are based more on personal growth in the art than any other criteria. Effort is the key measurement.
Practitioners of Taekwondo learn to stretch and exercise nearly every muscle group in the body which distinguishes Taekwondo from most other sports. Emphasis is on improved concentration and stamina. Taekwondo, like other martial arts, develops both the body and mind. The positive effects will carry over into many other areas of a participant's life.
Training and testing for rank advancement is completed under the leadership of 5th Dan Master Instructor Steve Felts.
Steve is a 5th Dan Black Belt in Jidokwan Taekwondo and is certified by the Kukkiwon World Taekwondo Federation in Seoul, Korea as a 4th Dan Black Belt and Instructor.
